"This 50/50 blend of Nero d'Avola and Frappato comes from a small organic estate in southeastern Sicily. A pretty onion-skin copper-pink, with fruity aromas of strawberry, peach and melon. That Sicilian sunshine adds riper notes of stone fruit alongside strawberry and cherry, all balanced by fresh lemon-and-lime acidity. Lees-ageing gives fullness and texture, but the finish is super-crisp. A brilliant pairing with grilled prawns - makes you think of summer by the sea."
