Insieme Orange wins the Gold Medal at Mundus Vini 2023
We are happy to share the news that our Santa Tresa Insieme Bianco (Orange) Terre Siciliane IGP 2022 has received an excellent accolade: it has been awarded the GOLD MEDAL at the Mundus Vini – Summer Tasting 2023, the 33rd Grand International Wine Award in Neustadt an der Weinstrasse in Germany.
Our first orange wine brings together Inzolia and Zibibbo organic grapes to create a delicious, fruity and fresh wine. A beautiful unique orange colour. On the nose there are notes of grapefruit, lemons, with hints of spice, balsamic, white pepper and mint. On the palate there is an excellent structure, with lovely fruit flavours, all supported by good balancing acidity, giving it an attractive freshness.
Insieme is from Sicily, where the warm climate and fertile soils combine to create interesting wines with typical Sicilian exuberance and an infections love of life.
